This program equips participants with essential employability skills, job readiness, and industry-aligned training that lead directly to employment opportunities.

Position Overview

We are seeking dynamic, engaging instructors to deliver short-term, high-impact training to adult learners. Instructors may specialize in specific subject areas and are not required to teach all sessions.

  • Program Schedule:

    • 4 weeks per cohort

    • 4 hours per day

    • 4 days per week

  • Starting Pay:

    • $30 per hour

  • Workforce readiness & soft skills (communication, professionalism, teamwork)

  • Job search and career preparation

  • Customer service and workplace behavior

  • Basic digital literacy and workplace technology

Role Description

OVERVIEW:

The Fast Track to Top Jobs Bootcamp Instructor is responsible for delivering an engaging workforce readiness program that prepares participants to qualify for employment and long-term career success. The instructor creates a professional learning environment that emphasizes accountability, workplace expectations, career readiness, and personal growth.

 Serving as an instructor, coach, and mentor, the instructor models professional workplace behaviors while maintaining high standards for attendance, participation, and performance. As a member of the Fast Track team, the instructor shares responsibility for participant outcomes by supporting engagement, career exploration, and successful transition into employment, training, or career advancement through collaboration with Career Advisors, Talent Connection Specialists, employers, and other program staff.

DUTIES:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver workforce readiness instruction aligned with the Fast Track to Top Jobs curriculum.

  • Establish and communicate clear learning objectives while utilizing a variety of instructional methods, learning materials, and technology to meet diverse participant needs.

  • Create an engaging, professional learning environment that promotes active participation and career readiness.

  • Observe, evaluate, and document participant performance, attendance, progress, and constructive feedback.

  • Maintain accurate participant records and complete all required documentation within established deadlines.

  • Establish and enforce professional workplace expectations, including punctuality, attendance, dress code, communication, teamwork, and workplace behavior.

  • Work collaboratively with the assigned program team to address participant performance concerns through coaching, documentation, and appropriate corrective action when expectations are not met.

  • Provide participant support, encouragement, and guidance to help overcome academic or employment-related barriers.

  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and other program-related meetings as required.

  • Share responsibility for participant outcomes by actively supporting participant engagement, career exploration, work-based learning experiences, job readiness, and successful employment placement and retention.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE:

Academic Credentials:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • Relevant teaching experience and knowledge of relevant technology

  • Must be skilled in computer/technology-based education and related practices

Work Experience Requirements

  • Two years or more of teaching experience

Other Requirements

  • Ability to work with Students in a classroom setting

  • Ability to travel to meet program needs (when necessary)

  • Experience teaching adult learners and learners with diverse backgrounds.
